Breathwork

Unlock Your Potential with Breathwork: An age-old tool to shift stagnant energy in an instant. Transformative Practices for Mind, Body, and Spirit.

Breathe in

Oxygen floods the lungs and spreads throughout the body. The deeper you breath, the deepers cells are affected.

The fundamentals

Breathe out

Through chemical processes in the cells, CO2 is released. It enters the lungs and leaves the body.

Recess

This vital stage of the breath is often overlooked. It offers a break where the body can recover.

“Everything we have ever experienced is still held within our cellular memory on a primarily subconscious level. We can use the breath as a way to access these deeper realms and bring what has previously been hidden or forgotten up to the surface.

Struggling with stress and anxiety?

Many of us constantly worry about work, family, and the future. Nights are spent tossing and turning, with our minds racing and preventing restful sleep. Stress manifests as headaches and muscle tension, leaving us feeling overwhelmed. Breathwork offers a natural way to calm the nervous system, quiet the mind, and regain emotional control, bringing a sense of peace and clarity.

Dealing with low energy and fatigue?

Do you find yourself feeling drained by midday, no matter how much coffee you consume? The demands of daily life can leave you exhausted, making it hard to keep up. Breathwork revitalizes the body by enhancing oxygen flow and improving circulation. This practice can help you feel more alive, motivated, and ready to tackle your responsibilities with renewed energy.

Facing emotional blockages and trauma?

Emotional pain and past traumas can leave us feeling trapped and unable to move forward. The weight of these experiences can cause a deep sense of disconnect and stagnation. Breathwork helps release deep-seated emotional blockages, allowing for the processing and healing of emotions. This practice fosters confidence and peace, freeing you from the grip of the past.

Seeking better health and well-being?

Chronic pain, digestive issues, and other health problems can be a daily struggle. Despite various treatments, finding relief can seem impossible. Breathwork offers a new approach by promoting relaxation and reducing stress, leading to improved overall health. Your body begins to function better, helping you feel healthier and more balanced.

Types of Breathwork I offer

Pranayama

Pranayama is an ancient yogic practice that involves controlling the breath to balance the mind and body. These techniques work on calming the nervous system, increasing energy, and promoting overall well-being. Pranayama helps you create a deeper sense of inner peace, focus, and clarity, making it ideal for those seeking stress relief, balance, and mental clarity in their everyday life.

Who is it for?
Pranayama is great for anyone looking for a more structured, meditative breathing practice that gently balances the mind and body.

Conscious Connected Breathwork

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a powerful, dynamic practice that uses a continuous, circular breathing pattern in and out trough the mouth, to help release trapped emotions, trauma, and stress. This technique opens the door to deep emotional healing, expanded consciousness, and self-discovery. The active breath helps you bypass the conscious mind, accessing deeper layers of your being for transformative shifts.

Who is it for?
Conscious Connected Breathwork is for those seeking deeper emotional release, spiritual awakening, or breakthroughs in personal growth. *Be mindful of the contraindications.

Contraindications in Breathwork

While breathwork can be a powerful healing tool, some practices—especially those with long breath holds or intense breathing patterns—may not be suitable for everyone. If you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart conditions, respiratory issues, or a history of epilepsy, panic attacks, or psychosis, these practices might not be recommended, as they can place extra strain on the body. It’s important to prioritize your well-being and listen to your body. If you have any concerns or medical conditions, please consult with a healthcare professional to ensure that breathwork is a safe and supportive practice for you.

Wow! Completely blank, I let this experience come to me. Of course, I knew somewhat from stories what it could "trigger". Only this was unprepared. This was my first time, and to make contact with myself, with my body, to go deeper inside in this way, is an unprecedented new experience. Anne and Jolanda additionally felt so well when they could assist. Their presence and guidance within the breathing made the experience complete. Thank you! Very grateful that I was able to experience DIVINNERTY! Until next time!

My personal story with breathwork

Fascination for transformation

To me, breathwork is one of the most powerful tools for transformation.

I believe it was at Boom Festival in Portugal where I had my first encounter with breathwork. We were guided through a circular breathing practice for about one hour.

During this session a variety of emotions passed by, I cried, I laughed, I cried from laughing, I felt blissful and even orgasmic. Like; what the F is going on here?! My whole face cramped up so much, and my hands were like little dinosaur claws and I couldn’t even move them anymore.

After this session I felt high on life and full of love. I really felt that something had shifted.

This experience was so deep and profound that I knew I wanted to learn more about it. I’m an explorer of life so I dove into it. I tried all the techniques I came across.I realized that no session is the same and that there are so many different techniques for different purposes and they all have instant effects on our body, mind and emotions.

And the most beautiful thing; you don’t need anything for it but fresh oxygen that is already around you! So you can do it anywhere anytime!

In my perspective it is THE most powerful tool for transformation.

From bodyshame to strength

Growing up I’ve felt ashamed over my body. In primary school, I got bullied for being fat. My grandmother put me on a diet since I was 7 and took me to weight watchers when I was a teenager. I was always quite tall for my age, but not necessarily fat. Although, at the age of 15 I did gain a lot of weight in a very short time. This imprint of “being too fat” was always on my mind, every freaking day…

Puberty was not easy. I wanted to look “thin” so I sucked my belly in as much as I could for most of the time. Cycling half an hour to our highschool, got me out of breath very quickly.

I remember my friend saying “You are always breathing so heavily”. I felt ashamed and tried to quiet my breath even more. My breath became very shallow.

As you can imagine, this created many blockages on many levels. I was bad at sports, always out of breath and had very low self esteem.

I wanted to feel confident and strong inside my body and be happy with myself and accept my body as it is. I wanted to be able to do sports without getting out of breath within a few minutes.

Over the years I have tried many different coaches and therapies that were helpful, and when I found Breath Therapy, many things changed for the positive, and still are changing.

I don’t get out of breath anymore so fast and I even enjoy sports now! I feel strong in my body, and have learned to accept and love it as it is. It also helped me to feel more relaxed in stressful times.

So, this was beautiful to witness! As down-to-earth as I am, I thought that not much would happen with breathing, but all sorts of things were released.Funny to notice what special things can happen in your body. And that just by breathing! The first but certainly not the last time. And how beautifully, calmly and respectfully the girls did it. Until next time!

What a wonderfully meaningful session I was privileged to experience. In which I entered openly but also as a complete newbie. Thanks to Jolanda and Anne who created a warm and completely safe environment where there was room for everyone's intention but also doubt and fear. The afterglow is still fully in my body, and the super beautiful insights I hold on to. I can recommend it to everyone. Hope to see you soon.
